This project highlighted Apple's HDR technology and M1 processor by exploring in-camera optical effects and portraiture in both moving images and stills.

Christopher Webb and the team at FX WRX constructed a bespoke optical FX rig around the live-action talent. The camera was supported on a moving boom which arced perfectly around the center of the subject. Layers of custom made optical glass were manipulated on robotic movers while the lighting was controlled in real time.  

This unique setup allowed Chris and his team to explore layers of colorful optical FX while working in real time with live-action talent.
