We're a special visual effects studio focused on in-camera FX. We engineer physical solutions and capture the shot all under one roof. From key art photography to live-action and miniatures, our team brings passion and expertise to each project. We believe in the power of practical FX as the foundation of creativity and discovery.
We’re also a production company, and we’re able to fully produce location and studio shoots. We can also fit within existing production teams. We work with filmmakers, designers, creatives, VFX supervisors, agencies, brands, networks, and production companies.

Graceann Dorse + Christopher Webb
Chris is a cinematographer, technical director, photographer, and VFX artist who adapts his role to each collaboration. Graceann is an executive producer and business manager uniquely qualified to oversee the highly specialized work that we do.
Together they lead an expert team of artists and technicians who bring each project to life.
Passion + Expertise
The creative power of cinematography is at the core of Chris’s process and informs our approach to in-camera VFX. Our goal is to reinvent the hands-on techniques of the past by bringing them into the digital future. We aim to explore all that moving and still images can be.
Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to each collaboration. He is a member of the Visual Effects Society and his work has been recognized with awards from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Promax Global Excellence in Design, and Adweek.
A creative lab for
visual discovery
It all began in a small warehouse in Brooklyn, where Chris and Graceann built their team and began to cultivate their unique way of working. Holding fast to the idea that working practically yields richer and more fertile discoveries, their process attracted clients and collaborators including the Coen Brothers, Apple, Coke, and BMW.
Today FX WRX operates in a much larger space (still in Brooklyn) renovated from the ground up to be a creative lab for visual discovery. We design, build, and shoot projects with our in-house team and highly specialized equipment.
We are proud to have made contributions to many types of visual media including commercials, network branding, and films directed by Wes Anderson, Ari Aster, and Steven Spielberg.
