Christopher Webb was called upon to create landscape images and moving portraits for Showtime's award winning series THE AFFAIR. For Season One, Chris and his crew worked on location in Montauk, Long Island to capture slow motion high resolution images with available light, employing on-camera filtration and specialty lenses to evoke the tone of the series. The team also utilized Chris's custom MYT Works 10' camera glider to add subtle motion to these landscape images. For Season Two, Chris and team created evocative moving portraits in studio. Working with series' stars Dominic West, Ruth Wilson, Joshua Jackson, and Maura Tierney, Chris filmed slow motion silhouettes with subtle lighting and eye-line changes. Carefully planned cues and lighting for each actor allowed Chris to work on the edge of darkness and create moments that play off each other as well as graphic text elements.
